“Niles is one of Mexico’s most dynamic gaming exports”- unknown
He began his ascent to greatness at the tender age of 10 as an orphan in the slums of California. It was recognized early on that he was a gifted athlete and was said by many of the days pundits to be the country’s best hope to return to prominence on the Olympic stage. While training for the Canadian junior national rock climbing team he would spend his down time playing board games with teammates. He began with checkers and chess and natural progression led to the game that would change his life: Pogs. Some said it was a fad, but for Niles it was a way of life. With this new found challenge Niles abandoned his Olympic aspirations and focused on the game. He quickly attained the level of Grand High Master after making the Top 8 of back to back Nationals Championships. He became the game’s youngest champion after winning the World Championship at the age of 12. Unfortunately, the critics proved to be correct about the game being a fad. This crushing blow, along with Niles’ Gynephobia confined Niles to his mother’s basement for the next 14 years. Despite this layoff, or perhaps because of it, Niles, already with a Darkmoon Faire Top 8 under his belt, is set to make his presence felt on the highest stage that the WoW TCG has to offer.
“Robert Swarowski is the Harbinger of Death”
Rob brings years of trading card game experience to the table. He is a Magic Grand Prix Champion, 5 time State Champion, and even a 5k Spoils Tournament Champion. Rob has been hungry for another Grand Prix win but he faces a growing problem that many poker pros face. With the growing fields it becomes unlikely that a pro player will win the main event again.
Luckily for Magic the Gathering, Rob has moved onto other games. Whenever Rob starts a new game it seems to quit existing within a couple of weeks. VS System died within a year of him starting. Then he started playing The Spoils which ended two weeks later. What does this mean for World of Warcraft?
“The lone wolf”
How bout that ride in. I guess that’s why they call it sin city. Ha ha ha. You guys might not know this but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack. But when I atted a VS tourney in Vegas and I played Niles I knew he was one of my own. And my wolfpack, it grew by one. So there were two of us in the wolfpack. I was alone first in the pack and then Niles joined in later. And 2 months later, when Niles introduced me to you the other guys I thought, wait a second, could it be. And now I know for sure that I just added eight guys to my wolfpack. Nine of us wolves, running around the desert together in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast.
